The dilemma from earlier today has been solved, and the players came out victorious in supporting their coaches!
From here, "The Red Sox went to bat for manager Terry Francona and the coaching staff on Wednesday, and in the end, got a result satisfactory enough to avoid boycotting their Grapefruit League finale against the Toronto Blue Jays. Thanks to the matter being resolved between the Red Sox, Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, the team will depart for Tokyo as scheduled early Wednesday evening."
A nice quote came from Tito about all of this, "What I want to say is how proud I am of our team. We're so united and our players showed it."
Schilling also threw in a few words that I will use to conclude this post, "The coaches never have leverage. In all the years I've been in baseball, they're the guys usually taken advantage of in situations like this. In this locker room, they're as much a part of this team as the guys on the field."

Brittany, boy, was I wrong with my yesterday afternoon post. I explained it all on my early Thursday morning post. At least I HOPE I did.
Hey, if you need any help adding a site-tracker blog counter to your website, which will tell you not only how many daily "hits" you receive but also where they're from, even on a world map if you want, just email me thru my profile. I will give you the link. All you have to do is imbed it onto your template. I know you know how to do that because you've already added links!
Have a great Thursday. P
Or you can just go to www.statcounter.com ....register your blog and put the code onto your template. I have mine right underneath my link list. After that, you can check up to the minute hits to the blog, and if you play around with it, it will tell you just about ANYTHING! If you need help, just email. I don't think you will, though! Bye.
Also, make sure you set your time zone, and all that. This should be easy for you. And if you want to be listed on the Baseball 100 blog list, just click on the icon on the top right of my blog, the one that says 16, or 17, or something. I used to be number one for so long, but that was in the heat of the '06 season. Sorry to be so wordy. Just trying to help....P
Thanks, Peter!
When I get a chance, I'll have to try out that stat counter--it seems pretty cool!
Also, don't worry about being too wordy because I really apreciate all of the advice that you've been giving me, no matter how many words you say it in!
Thanks! It'll all be second nature by june, and summer vacation. And the stat counter IS great. Have a wonderful holiday weekend.
