Opening Day (for most of the MLB)

With a whole bunch of teams having their opening game today, the excitement of baseball has now spread throughout my entire school.

Rather than hearing people casually say, "So, how was your spring break?" they are now excitedly shouting, "Did you see Zimmerman's walk-off homer?" and "OMG! Our first game is today!"

After seeing "Santana" and "Utley" across the backs of dozens of shirts at school today and hearing the excitement throughout the halls (rather than the usual dull return from spring break), I can now say that Baseball Season 2008 has "officially" begun.

Tommorow, we return to the regular season against Oakland for our first game this season in the U.S.--a great place to be right now for baseball fans.
