Let's just say that yesterday's game had a different ending than what I (and everyone else, I'm sure) had expected, completing the Jay's three-game sweep. Aside from filling up the bases in the fifth, I think Beckett did pretty well for his first day back. Manny Delcarmen's game can be summed up in one pitch--the one that he delivered perfectly over the plate for Frank Thomas to knock out of the park with bases loaded. We did have three solo-homers, though, from Ellsbury, Tek, and Drew.
Tomorrow , after playing in three different countries, we'll finally have a game at Fenway Park. We're playing the Tigers, who (even though SI picked them to win it all) haven't managed to win a single game yet this year.
Hopefully, our home-field advantage and the Tiger's losing streak will create the perfect formula for a much-needed victory.
Oh, and enjoy the off day today--it's the last one we'll have until April 28, which means twenty straight games without a break!

My heavens, 20 straight games?- I think I have 3 energy drinks in the fridge. I better stock up now!
Thumbs up to that "perfect formula" - Bring on the Tigers!
Dice-K was awesome.
Hopefully, the Tigers will be 0-9 when we're done with them!
